Well located hotel, clean rooms but a bit noisy (due to the street) and deteriored : lavabo and wall scaled, stains on bedsheets... The breakfast could be improved: overbaked croissants, dirty tables,... Hopefully alfajojes were good and team is nice.

Stayed: October 2013, traveled as a couple

The Hotel is located very centraly in Buenos aires next to Puerto Madero and the Shopping Street .
The Hotel and the rooms Look a Little Bit Old fashioned .
The furniture could be renewed .
But the size of the Rooms is ok the Bathroom is really clean and the bed is ok .
The breakfast in the Hotel is included, nothing Special just ok .
The breakfast room has the Flair of a Waiting area.
Wifi is Free .

For the Price the Hotel is ok , but Don t expect to much .

We arrived at the end of July and booked in for 3 nights. We ended up staying for about 8 nights. The rooms were huge, with a bedroom, living room, entrance hall, and kitchen, all for under $50. This midrange hotel is located in the microcentre, near Florida Street, and a walk to congress and the main Plaza de Mayo where the Government House is located. The breakfast was a huge spread of continental and South American foods, and was delicious. The staff spoke perfect English and were (mostly) friendly and helpful. The building has character, but due to construction in the area, try to ask for floor 6 or higher so as to not be disturbed. Wifi connection is available on all floors too which is essential for us. Be careful in the microcentre at day or night - just the usual pickpockets around - we had no problems, just use common sense, the same as anywhere.

Room Tip: 6th floor or higher

If this is the last available hotel in Bs. As. book it. But there are better hotels in the same price range and much better for a little more money. Location, in the center of Downtown Bs.As, is its main feature. My room was small, furniture poor, a stool instead of a chair, outdated TV set. Bathroom clean but small. There was no soap neither toilet paper. Asked for them but I never got them. Breakfast is like the hotel. Somewhere between poor and average. Is OK for a night or two
but not for a longer stay.

Room Tip: Book another hotel

The hotel is very old and the elevator is a bit scary and very noisy (will probably wake you up in the night). However, the room is huge (mine had a fully equipped kitchen), clean and wifi works fine. Breakfast is also nice and staff is amazing and super helpful. If you are looking for the best value hotel in the heart of the city, I would recommend this one!
