Dishes are exquisitely prepared at this family restaurant. The place is smallish and somewhat out of the tourist loop but the visit is well worth it. We tried three different dishes and exotic fruit ice creams, all great.

It's recommended to reserve before because the place is small but warm and the fusion peruan food is delicious!!! We asked for 1 different plate each one and tried 4 different flavors! The "chicha morada" is really good! And there are "tequeños" (similar to mozzarella fingers)

This is a very small Peruvian restaurant located not far from Palermo. The food was delicious -at least everything we ordered- the only bad part was on the day of my visit they were out of Aji de Gallina. This turned out fine because the papas a la huancaina and the ceviche mixto where plenty for the two of us, a third plate would have been too much. The staff was courteous and non invasive during dinner and the ambiance was very relaxed.

Girlfriend and I are here before a Tango lesson on a Monday night. The small restaurant exceeded expectations. We both enjoyed our dishes tremendously. The total for the two, a bottle of wine and coffees was very reasonable. If you go on a weekend you might want to arrive early.

So far, I've been to Lúcuma about five times. Once you've been, it's impossible to not come back. The family that runs it is incredibly friendly and really dedicated to giving you a great experience. Whatever you do, don't forget to order chicha morada with your meal - it is a delicious purple corn juice that tastes like heaven. Some of my favourites on the menu includes the chupe de camerones (hearty prawn stew with rice), tamales with a nice spicey sauce on the side and the ceviche Lúcuma with salmon. Really, you can't go wrong whatever you choose.
