Madero Hotel is a great hotel with very spacious and modern rooms. The hotel is in the neighbourhood Puerto Madero which is not the greatest neighbourhood. It is like a industrial harbour but close to the center.

The breakfast was okay but not great at all. There was plenty of fresh fruit and a lot of sweets. There was not much choice in bread (only white) and only scrambled eggs. When I asked for a boiled egg they charged me extra for it.

The fitness center is good except for the swimming pool which can be a bit cooler, Swimming feels like taking a bath.

Wonderful rooms with comfortable, modern furnishings, king beds, and a nice bar/sink in the room. Great views of the Puerto Madero area and walking distance to all the bars and night life in Puerto Madero, which is very safe. The hotel has a good gym, although nothing special, and a lounge on the top floor with great views of the city, although it closes too early for nightcaps. The restaurant on the ground floor is good but pricey, and the included breakfast buffet is extensive and well-done. One of the best values in Buenos Aires in a very pleasant part of town away from the crowds of La Florida, Plaza San Martin, etc. We booked on short notice and got an excellent rate. If you're into all the shopping that BA has to offer you can still walk to La Florida in 10 min or take a quick cab, but this way you can come back to a more sedate part of BA in an upscale residential district once you're done battling the crowds.

After trying many of the well known hotels in Buenos Aires (Sheraton, Hilton, Faena) I found Hotel Madero from Worldhotels, faithful to the standard: "unique hotels for unique people".

Smooth check in, great layout of the room, magnificent shower and a nice and funky bar with very good service and a gourmet restaurant with delicious food available at any time and whereever you prefer at the many peaceful locations in the hotel. And that is without mentioning the spa, pool and gym.

The location invites to explore Buenos Aires considering everything is within and interesting walk...from the Hotel and is very convenient to travel to and from Uruguay, via ferry or using flights from the nearby aeroparque.

Stayed here in early Feb. and loved it. The staff is overly helpful and courteous.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
The hotel is located in the port area which is exclusive and modern, well policed and clean. Very convenient to restaurants along the waterside and the art community of Caminito.
Superb and tasteful.

Hotel Madero is one of the best hotels that I've ever been, since the moment we arrived the staff were always there helping you. The bell boys, Ivo and David, took our luggage and left in our room. Exiting the Hotel, Ivo and Christian were very kind always trying to help putting the things in the car and that stuff.
In the breakfast in the morning, the dancing waiter: Maximiliano (he was dancing thinking no one was watching him) He's great and funny and also his partner Gonzalo, who's very cute. Analia, Rocio, Maria José, Natalia and Leonardo are waiters too, and they're always there trying to help and caring about your needs.
Then, the girl that cleaned our room, Vanesa, is a very honest girl and did what she had to do with all her excellence.
I would totally recommend this hotel for anyone.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
When Hotel Madero was being designed, we wanted it to reflect the style and sophistication of the Puerto Madero neighborhood we call home.At Hotel Madero one of the main challenges with the design of our hotel in Buenos Aires was to be able to incorporate functional diversity with space unity, to provide for flexible usage of the space and to integrate each area easily.Hotel Madero Buenos AiresThe Argentine studio Abulafia Figoni Prado was hired to do the interior design of our hotel in Buenos Aires. The project incorporates current and evolving spaces, places where people really want to stay and to feel comfortable in their environs. The intention was to design a hotel in Buenos Aires with atmosphere, generating a rich interior architecture through a suggestive way of illumination, and combining rich materials and textures so that each of the spaces has its own identity. The acquisition of the contemporary art is also very significant. Paintings and sculptures were incorporated, most of them from local artists ... more   less
