My wife and I recently spent a few days at Hotel Madero and we had an excellent experience. The staff was very helpful, the hotel offered great service, and a very special note to our Concierge Sebastian. He consistently went out of his way to help us with great suggestions, make reservations and all his choices were very good. A big plus is the location, Puerto Madero is a walking distance to a lot of the good spots in the city.

I have decided to write just one review on TA, but I have started remembering places and hotels I have liked recently, and it seems that there is more then one review coming. Although we have stayed in Hotel Madero almost a year ago, I do remember it fondly. Firstly, because we had an amazing visit to Buenos Aires, secondly because we liked this area, thirdly although we have changed 3 hotels in BA, Hotel Madero was the one we went to first. It is a solid hotel. We have been upgraded without even asking and we got a really big suite with a balcony, facing the courtyard. I liked the room, nothing romantic or cute, but solid, good big bed, great bathroom. Stuff is not trying to be friendly or cutesy, but professional and on to the topic. So, overall, a good choice to stay for couple of days to explore Madero area!

As we liked the quarter of Puerto Madero on our first visit of Buenos Aires we wanted to stay there on our way back. The hotel is relatively new with a modern decoration. We had a deluxe room on the seventh floor. It was on the bigger size, very clean and with a nice view. But there have been already some damages in the bathroom, nothing big but it looked like if there have been some construction faults.
However we really liked the hotel. And nevertheless all the comments here on Tripadvisor we found the staff very friendly especially in the restaurant. Only the barkeepers have been a little bit slow and unmotivated.
Just one thing really bothered us. You have to pay for wifi. That would be ok but the connection in the room was from very bad to not existent. It would be no problem if it would be for free. We don’t need wifi every day. But when you charge for it you have to guarantee that it works.
Beside these smaller things we definitely would recommend the Hotel Madero if you wanna stay in this quarter of Buenos Aires.

We stayed at hotel Madero for the New Year 2013 holidays. The location is great specially because of all the fireworks activity. The hotel was 4 star at best and not 5 star as advertised. The pool itself and the "pool lounge!!" were 3 star at best. The breakfast service was also 4 star. I was happy with the cleanness of the hotel and the staff were very helpful. The price seemed reasonable for a so called 5 star, but as it turned out it really was slightly expensive since the quality was 4 star. I think with a little improvement over some key factors, they actually have the potential to become a real 5 star someday.

Having to travel twice a year in Buenos Aires, I had the opportunity to try many hotels before I discovered the Hotel Madero. Location seems a little far away from the microcentro if you travel for business, but it is only at a 10 mn taxi ride from the center (which is let's face it not really nice at night, so you basically will not miss anything !). You will also find many restaurant option nearby in Puerto Madero !
Rooms are really convenient and newly decorated with a nice little balcony. If you can afford to book a Junior Suite you will discover a great room with living room area.
Restaurant and room service offer a really good option if you do not want to go out for dinner or lunch (You also have sushi option)... Do not miss the dulce de leche cheescake !!!
Service is always perfect, from the housekeeping to the front desk. Concierge will assist you with transfer request and dinner recommendation, I basically never had to complain to any point and will definitely recommend this hotel for either a leisure or a business trip to Buenos Aires.

This is a great hotel for a fair price. We were there for new years eve 2013, everything was great. Service is perfect, all employess try to do their best to make your stay pleasant. The heated swimming pool on the last floor is perfect any time of the year, in the summer they open the windows and ceiling, perfect view of Puerto Madero that is the new trendy area in Buenos Aires. Great restaurants nearby, including the ones at the Faena Hotel that I higlhy recommend too. The location is very good although not so walkable to all the tourist areas, but taxis are readily available everywhere and very cheap. I do recommend.

Room Tip: all rooms are good, nothing to worry about! Ours was on the 7th floor overlooking the back yard, li...

Located in a fashionable new region Puerto Madero very far from all the main attractions of the centre. Trip by taxi to Recoleta will cost about 30 local dollars, to La Boca - 50-60. Veru poor soundproof of the rooms, sometimes it seems they are just getting in your room. One facade faces the construction site and a busy street, so if you are not on business trip it is better to ask for the room facing the inner yard, but be ready to hear the voices of thne children swimming in the pool, beloning to adjacent condo. The rooms are spacious, the furniture is Ikea style, poor internet conection and payable.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
When Hotel Madero was being designed, we wanted it to reflect the style and sophistication of the Puerto Madero neighborhood we call home.At Hotel Madero one of the main challenges with the design of our hotel in Buenos Aires was to be able to incorporate functional diversity with space unity, to provide for flexible usage of the space and to integrate each area easily.Hotel Madero Buenos AiresThe Argentine studio Abulafia Figoni Prado was hired to do the interior design of our hotel in Buenos Aires. The project incorporates current and evolving spaces, places where people really want to stay and to feel comfortable in their environs. The intention was to design a hotel in Buenos Aires with atmosphere, generating a rich interior architecture through a suggestive way of illumination, and combining rich materials and textures so that each of the spaces has its own identity. The acquisition of the contemporary art is also very significant. Paintings and sculptures were incorporated, most of them from local artists ... more   less
