From the moment we arrived, greeted by the driver sent by Sebastien at the front desk, we knew that we had made the right choice! Beautiful spacious room, excellent breakfast, superior concierge service, safe neighbourhood. Really a great place to stay in Buenos Aires!

Room Tip: Trust Sebastien (Concierge) with any concerns. He made our trip extremely enjoyable.

We recently stayed here on a 5 day trip and this hotel is simply amazing. The rooms were very spacious and the breakfast was really good. We had communicating rooms and it was as big as a really big suite, including a microwave. Swimming pool on the terrace with a view of the city is really nice and clean.

The hotel location is spectacular in the developing Puerto Madero area. We used a nearby super market (Jumbo, which is about 5 minute walk) for doing laundry (very cheap - 35 pesos per bag) and general shopping.

The hotel staff were very helpful and helped us with the taxi service and directions. Highly recommend it.

I've stayed at the Madero Hotel in Buenos Aires from Dec 16 to Dec 19. Overall, a very good hotel, with large and well-appointed rooms, great breakfast (usually included in the rate) with several options to pick up. The only minor drawback was the wi-fi internet access fee, which I consider slightly above the average in cost. The Hotel is in a quiet district and very close to Puerto Madero, a very good-looking and restored port area, which now hosts fancy restaurants, nice attractions (Puente de la Mujer) and nice buildings. It's also close to the Casa Rosada, home of the President of Argentina. Podolano's tips: If you want a quieter room, ask for the ones facing the rear of the hotel. The ones facing the street have small nice balconies, but can be a little noisy in lower floors.

This is a swanky hotel in a swanky neighbourhood.

The reception greeting was super-swift in processing me and the staff very courteous. Everything has a modern feel to it from the lift and corridors to the room itself. The room was well equipped but the TV stations lacked any English news channels. Also, I believe that WiFi should be free in every space within a hotel. Here, as with the others, it was only free in the public space in the lobby.

The breakfast was buffet and the service around it attentive.

The location, service and comfort of the rooms warrants another visit.

My family is made up of me (31) my husband (34) and our son (21 months) - we stayed at Hotel Madero for two nights in early November and loved it! We stayed in a superior room facing the street. It's great to note that all rooms facing the street have comfortable balconies, and although they are facing south (and there's lots of construction) they are great to just sit out and relax and watch the city go by. I was there on business so was out most of the day, but my husband and son got a chance to really experience this hotel and area.

Location- is awesome! You're close to restuarants, and just behind the hotel there is a small supermarket and pharmacy. Also just a block or two away there is a park with lots of play equipement for kids. You can spend the day walking along the port, eating in great restuarants and enjoying being a part of Buenos Aires. We actually felt like we "lived" here while staying at this area - very family and couple friendly. Lots of people out at night and it felt safe. The only thing to consider is if it rains there's going to be mosquitos! Bring repellent. We are from Ontario and know mosquitos and these ones were forces to be reconnded with! Go prepared. We stayed in both Recoleta and Madero and we preferred Madero for its ease and comfrotable feel.

Hotel - the rooms are spacious and the staff is great. The breakfast doesn't dissappoint! Its an endless array of fruits, pastries, hot food and more! The rooftop patio and pool is spectacular! The views at sunset are just heavenly.

Its not a 5 star hotel - its a 4 star hotel, so go with that in mind and you will not be disappointed! The only thing reason I didn't give it excellent is because wifi isn't included for free. In today's world - especially in a city such as BA - this should be included in all hotels (it is in most).

We would definitly stay here again in the future :)
Family of 3 :)

Room Tip: Ask for street facing superior rooms - the balconies are great and the rooms are nice and roomy!

Stayed at Hotel Madero for a business trip. The hotel is average at best, especially for the prices they charge. The reception service is slow - check-in and check-out take forever. The breakfast offering is ok, but lacks good breads and an egg service (only at extra cost). Coffee was poor. The orange jam one of the best ever tasted.

Bar is not happening. The area of Puerto Madero is one of the safest in Buenos.

Internet is not free of charge, neither is the mini-bar. Given the ridiculous price tag, this is a incomprehensible to me.

The swimming pool and fitness area is poor and outdated, especially the gym equipment.

The rooms have outdated bathrooms and non-goose down bedding. Cleanliness was good. There no international channels whatsoever available on TV. No international newspapers are offered or available anywhere in the hotel.

Toiletries look funky, but are of cheap quality.

Overall, the hotel charges USD250 plus at busy periods and this is unjustified in every way. We paid more than USD350 for one of the nights and the difference to a real luxury hotel, like the Park Hyatt, was only USD100 more in exchange for nice spa, proper rooms and service.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
When Hotel Madero was being designed, we wanted it to reflect the style and sophistication of the Puerto Madero neighborhood we call home.At Hotel Madero one of the main challenges with the design of our hotel in Buenos Aires was to be able to incorporate functional diversity with space unity, to provide for flexible usage of the space and to integrate each area easily.Hotel Madero Buenos AiresThe Argentine studio Abulafia Figoni Prado was hired to do the interior design of our hotel in Buenos Aires. The project incorporates current and evolving spaces, places where people really want to stay and to feel comfortable in their environs. The intention was to design a hotel in Buenos Aires with atmosphere, generating a rich interior architecture through a suggestive way of illumination, and combining rich materials and textures so that each of the spaces has its own identity. The acquisition of the contemporary art is also very significant. Paintings and sculptures were incorporated, most of them from local artists ... more   less
