Dogo was the most fantastic hostel, my friends and I stayed there for over a week as we just loved it! The location is fantastic in the heart of Soho, Palermo, loads of great bars, restaurants and trendy shops on the door step!
The staff literally couldn't do enough to help, although some of their English wasn't completely fluent and our Spanish was basic, they used google translate and were very patient! The staff helped us book gig tickets, football, skydiving and even to find restaurants that were suitable for allergy sufferers! The hostel is ran by 3 friends (one of which is a drummer in a famous Argentinian band!) and a very hot French guy that works with them!
The hostel was very clean and as it's only a few months old, it's all lovely and new and really is home from home rather than the usual tatty hostels we visited! The kitchen in particular is so well equipped and very clean!
Each morning they served bread, apples, dulce de leche (local speciality, you have to try!) and fresh coffee.
This isn't a party hostel (although there weren't many people staying when we were there, as it wasn't peak season) but there's a great roof terrace and they serve beer & wine, it's a great place to chill out with friends and have a BBQ!
I literally can't recommend Dogo enough and I look forward to visiting there again in the future!
