“When you're tired of beef this is the place to go!”
Reviewed December 26, 2012

Recommended by the Park Hyatt and it did not dissappoint. Food was dilish, especially the shrimp in garlic sauce. I had a local fish with a vegetable side. Mix of locals and visitors. A few night ago we met a single woman traveler who discovered the restaurant as well and had a similarly positive experience. This restaurant deserves to be much higher up the ratings!

“A great surprise”
Reviewed November 27, 2012

Our last night in B.A. and we Needed seafood! Recommended by hotel concierge, this was a great find, and definitely would have been visited again if we had been staying longer. Lovely, friendly atmosphere, and very homely decor, fitting the Spanish ethos. B road menu, but we went straight to the paella, as we could see other diners had... And started with a selection of tapas, more pintchos than tapas, which were a bit heavier and drier than desired, but tasty and varied. We had the classic paella valenciana - beautifully presented, excellently served, with chunky chicken and shellfish - fab! This was as good as any paella we have tasted in Spain. Complemented by a lovely (great value) torrontes, as good a meal as we had in Argentina. The staff were very attentive and professional, clearly a place on the up, and deserving of the awards that will inevitably come. Very enjoyable night, and highly recommended. The only reservation we would have was that personality and friendliness might be hidden by the quest for utter professionalism - but that's just a small quibble.

“Excellent Spanish Restaurant!”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

This restaurant was a great find in Recoleta. We went there to find an old favorite, La Flora, but found it had been renovated into a Spanish restaurant. It is new, unique and quite modern and stylish. We enjoyed two entradas - garlic prawns and a Spanish tortilla which were both excellent and ample food for two people. We did not need an entree. The staff was welcoming and service was outstanding.

“Fun Spanish Food and Great Service”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

This wonderful authentic Spanish restaurant in Recoleta is a breathe of fresh air in a city filled with steak. This is a locals place and on a Monday night it was filled with regulars. The tapas were beautiful and filling. The wine list is superb. The paella was filled with seafood and delicious. The service was friendly and professional even though we do not speak Spanish. A true find thanks to our concierge at the hotel.
