It's an amazing building that worst the visit. It also has very interesting shows going on everyday. Good match is a nice lunch in "El Obrero", just crossing the street.

Thank Piurl

Admirable remodeled building by the government of Buenos Aires. A unique place in town in La Boca. I attended several concerts and events and I cannot believe this is in Buenos Aires. It is not hard to get there but it can take some time depending where you are coming from. But if you are in Buenos Aires you have to visit the place. There are free visits daily.

Great building that has been restored to perfection. Must see the auditorium. Situated on Barrio de La Boca.

La Boca is dodgy at the best of times, and USINA is a bit off the beaten tourist path. Hence dangerous. Taxi in, and taxi out.
I understand what the city is trying to do - gentrify the 'hood - but that is years away.
Just because they have free 11:30 am concerts does not mean its worth the safety risk.

The place is a rescued electricity building that, for it self, worths the visit, for architaechtural reasons. It's walking distance from La Boca, and Caminito. There are bilingual visits, from morning to afternoon.
But the shows are the main attraction. Several days per week, there's a choice of top artists who play classical, tango, southamerican folkclore and jazz. The auditorium is big and the tickets are not expensive
