Stumbled upon this spot in the rain while wandering around the Plz. de Mayo. There are a few shops inside a beautiful old building, a courtyard that was blasting classical music, a violin maker and then a great little restaurant called Veladad Virreinales. The restaurant had surprisingly delicious fresh ravioli, delicious coffee and a wonderful vibe... it may have helped that we were the only ones in there but our server was very nice, we even ended up sharing tongue twisters in our various languages (English, Spanish and Korean) Definitely worth popping your head in for a bit of history!

it is like many places - nice to visit to get some history but you go once.

It's nice to learn about the history but we didn't even walk any part of the "tunnel" because they're only renovated to be shown and for stories to be told, so don't have high hopes! The cafe would be a nice place to lose yourself in the hustle of the day.

Is this all it rests from old Buenos Aires? Being just half a city block it could be easily kept in a better way.

If you know a little about spanish you must go. Take the guide visit and you will know more about Buenos Aires and Spain History as well about what people were doing around 1850 in Soth America, I loved it.
