Not a must go, but a pretty nice place to visit if you have time. You won't spend to much time to visit, unless you decide to have lunch there, but I didn't so I don't know if it's a good place to eat.

It is a very interesting place to see in Buenos Aires. Its touristic appeal might be a little tiring, but one can see some nice things. It is also a nice place to take pictures. I went on a Tuesday afternoon, so the place was not very crowded.

Visited on a Tuesday afternoon during low season, but the place was still quite crowded with tourists. There was no shortage of waiters trying to usher you into their establishments and other people hanging around looking to prey on unsuspecting tourists. The area is completely catered to tourists with a plethora of photo ops including cardboard cutouts and life-sized historical figures. For this reason, the area, which otherwise would likely be quite charming, comes across as a complete tourist trap. I'd recommend only coming here if you've already seen many of the other attractions in the city.

My girlfriend insisted on going there. We felt scam by how expensive the prices were. There is nothing special about the houses nor the fair.

There is nothing special about this street. Just some ugly old houses and lots of people trying to sell you some extremely expensive staff. Also I didn't fell really safe around there, I wouldn't recommend this area.
