This hotel is located in a vibrant area of Buenos Aires called Palermo. It is close to all kinds of shops and restaurants and parks. It feels very safe to walk around during the day and into the evening. It is not located in the main tourist area (San Telmo) so you will not find as many people who can speak english. But everyone appreciates it even if you're stumbling with Castellano and most people are willing to help if you need it.
It is close to the zoo and some major parks and the area of Palermo Soho is within easy walking distance. The Recoleta area has a nice fair every weekend and that is a really nice walk along Avenida del Libertidad.
The rooms are fairly standard, nothing special but clean and sufficient. There is an area where breakfast is served every day. It would have been nice if there was a restaurant but there are plenty of places nearby to eat and grocery stores also.
The staff are very nice and helpful there. There was an initial problem in getting them to answer my emails but I think maybe because they were in english. I followed up with a call and my reservation was booked.
