“Full of shops & people”
Reviewed September 30, 2012

This is a very busy street - filled both with pedestrians and an enormous variety of shops. Thankfully it is fully pedestrianized as negotiating the people, money changers, street performers and tour sellers can be a bit of a challenge. Most of the shopping is higher end. Take a look at some of the specialized leather shops which contain beautiful clothing. As in any busy area, take extra care of your belongings.

“Florida is a unique place in Buenos Aires”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

The Calle Florida is a pedestrian street with lots of caffes, restaurants and shops. There you will see so many different faces, styles, lots of people and great buildings. The shopping center GALERIAS PACIFICO is a must visit while in this day trip. It has beautiful ceiling paintings and lots of shops and food places.

“Right by my office - walked many times”
Reviewed August 30, 2012

This is the ultimate tourist street but it has everything and locals go there just as much as foreigners. From fancy bookstores to hidden shopping malls to illegal moneychangers this street is long and full of action pretty much morning to night. Fun for a stroll or concentrated errand running.

“Pedestrians and Shopping”
Reviewed August 27, 2012

There's a bit of everything on this pedestrian street. Really fun to watch all the people and movement. Definitely watch your belongings here though. It's a pickpocket haven. Also, probably best to avoid it during weekends or at night.

“Fun pedestrian street shopping”
Reviewed July 31, 2012

Calle Florida is a beautiful pedestrian street lined with shopping centers and store fronts. It's worthwhile to visit. I made it a point to pass through Calle Florida on my walking trip to San Telmo. Picked up a few souveiners on the way.
