This place is historically important: it is the place where the revolution against Spanish colonialism started. Though authorities don't have a clue how to make a interesting museum. Nothing interactive, nothing really interesting to see, no interesting texts about the history of Argentina. It seems asif the administrator doesn't have the minimum interest in getting visitors.

Historical place where you can learn a little of the colonial period of Argentina. It's small but has interesting photographs and items in its collection. Besides, it's in front of the Plaza de Mayo and close to the Cathedral and Casa Rosada. You must pay a little tax to visit and can't take pictures.
Para os brasileiros: Interessante lugar para comparar a administração espanhola com a portuguesa na era colonial!

This building is the oldest historical reference of the city. Its architecture is very simple, its furniture sparse and the visitor may its interest in the fact that it used to be the see of the government when the May 1810 Revolution took place

Cabildo was the City Hall during the Spanish rule (1580 - 1810), jailhouse and municipal seat, it used to have more arches but they were demolished to make way for Diagonal Norte, Diag. Sur and Av. de Mayo. Here, on May 25, 1810, the patriots voted to depose the Spanish Viceroy, starting out Argentina as a new country!

Poor inside. You should combine ir with the Cathedral, Cafe Tortoni and Casa Rosada. By itself , not worth it.
