Owner description: By day, this riverfront area is a booming business and shopping district and by night, a hip neighborhood with pricey restaurants and fashionable clubs.

We just walked around this area to relax and to have dinner. There are many very good restaurants and cafes in this place. If you prefer, you can take a rest and appreciate the view.

What a lovely area, to have a walk around , and to be out of the hustle and bustle of the town, that lies right next to it.
The port and the old ware houses create a cosy and historically interesting area, the restaurants are varied, and have terraces towards the water, the contrast of the old and the new is fascinating to see, a must go

For high class dining Puerto Madero has many choices in a very nice location. You can find every type of menu. Hard to go wrong.

If you like beautiful green spaces in large vibrant cities, the reserva ecologica is a must see in an area recently recovered (with major new investment in the old port around it) from years of neglect.

We walked the area also to visit the Dutch embassy (because I was robbed of my backpack with all my valuables. I was stupid enough not to leave my valuables in the safe provided in the room of our hotel). Beware of scams in Buenos Aires! We had a nice lunch with Dutch friends in one of the restaurants in Puerto Madero. There are two "floating" museums in this area that we however did not visit.
