Beautiful area to walk and browse the the tastes of the city. This is a must for anyone with a free afternoon.

I am always ready for a good cemetary and Recoleta did not disappoint. Could have spend a day there wondering the aisles. Don't miss it1

Was told and read many things about visiting Recoleta. It is supposed to be where tourists find things to do. So me and my travel mate wandered around Recoleta on the extra day we had in Buenos Aires after missing our flight. We found it just average, but a nice walk. The neighborhood was better than most of Buenos Aires. The Metal Floral is nice to see though, but nothing else to do.

La Recoleta is a nice little area to go and visit and walk around. From the cemetery where Evita is buried in her family plot, to the french style apartment housing, to the great Art Museum, it is a nice area to walk around. The only thing that we found really out of place, and also left to nature was the National Library that looked runned down from outside.

Very interesting, like nothing we've seen before. So much history. A good guide is essential to explain the history, the personalities and the storiez surrounding these ornate and interesting graves.
