“An absolute must”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2013

If you are in Buenos Aires you must see the cemetery, its filled with works of art and some windows that would take your breath away. Evita's tomb is not really something that take your breath away, but I do get that a lot of tourists go for that... Just don't stick to just looking at that one, the Cemetery is an enormous necropolis filled with amazing sculptures and tombs that are just magnificent. A real must see.

“Great experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2013

There are free tours of the cemetery at 11 am on Tuesday and Thursday. Our guide spoke wonderful English. The cemetery is interesting, but for me the best part was hearing some of the history of Argentina, and the history of the important people who are buried there. The statuary is also magnificent. A must see! A tip to the guide is a nice gesture.

“Not spooky.. =)”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 6, 2013

The most interesting cemetery I've been. If I wasn't that very tired, I should have took photos of all the well-made statues in the area. I've visited on a sunny afternoon, many tourists also came. You can take your time here, there are some resting seats inside the area. Architectures in this areas are very nice.

“Even if you don't know Argentine history”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2013 via mobile

It's one of the nicest cemeteries try a guided tour, and if you know Spanish ask for Osvaldo at the entrance who will recite poetry at most stops of the tour he gives, truly amazing guy. He does not ask for payment but 200 pesos tip is only 20 dollars and worth the 90 minutes to 2 hours you will spend with him.

“Grave visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2013

This was an excellent place to visit, we got a tour guide just outside for $20 and we would have missed so much, such an experience walking round the place and we visited Evita's grave, and not to be missed, near excellent places for coffee or wine.
