“Incredible place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2013

Across the street from our hotel I have never seen anything like it the closest would be the cemetery in New Orleans. The place is enormous you can purchase a map for $10Pesos half of which is given to charity. It is open from 7am to 7pm with free guided tours in different languages English on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Highlight is the resting place of Eva Peron.

“Well worth a visit”

It's huge and, like the rest of Buenos Aries, shows a past and fading splendour. The Evita site is surprisingly modest

“Not to be missed.”

Free. Fascinating. No need for a guide. The residents may be long dead, but this place makes B. A. history come alive.

“Increidble--Make sure to have time and a camera!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 3, 2013

No traveler should leave BA without seeing this cemetery. It's nothing you could imagine, and they are not kidding when they say you could spend several hours walking through here. It's truly massive with the thousands of beautiful tombs of the once rich and famous. Make sure to have your camera, and some water--because you will be here for awhile!
