Famous for a balcony on which Evita appeared, government buildings, groups of protesters seeking information about the hundreds who disappeared in the Peron years, soldiers seeking government compensation for their participation in the Falklands war, etc. and site of a cathedral. It's a large square with a couple of historic buildings and average people watching. If you are nearby it's worth walking a block or two to see, but it is not worth a special effort.
