The house Rosada has guided tours until 5 pm for free. But do not get at the last minute because the are long lines, although expected to be small. The house is very pretty and has a nice view of the square. Also worth a stroll around the place at night when the lighting gives a very special touch.

This tour is available on weekends. It is free and is given in English and Spanish. There is an elevator, if needed. Our guide was very informative, and we were so thrilled to be able to tour this place, the equivalent of our White House except that the Argentine first family does not live in Casa Rosada. It is strictly for government business. We saw Eva Peron's office and the door to the balcony where she gave her "Don't cry for me, Argentina" speech. Photographs are allowed. Tour is 1-2 hours with one opportunity to sit down.

On Saturdays ,Sundays, and public holidays you are able to do tours through here. It is where the President works from during the week.It was very interesting. There is no charge.

Equivalent to Houses of Parliament in UK. Saturday and Sunday, doors open to the public for free tours in various languages.Visit numerous rooms, including the ' Eva Peron ' room, and balcony where famous speeches were made.Excellent.

Of course no tour of BA would be complete without seeing this classic site and square. There is also a museum on one right bottom corner as you look at it straight on. The square has the mothers of the lost children (Madres de Plaza de Mayo) protesting every Thursday afternoon at 3pm, very moving.
