“Take photos outside”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

The presidential residence, at Plaza del Mayo pays a visit outside and some photos, of the house, the monument, the cathedral, the Cabildo, they are all around the square, a place of many protests till today., but it's on people's memory the protests of the mothers whose children went missing during the dictatorial regime.

“Interesting to take a quick look outside, don't bother with the tour”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

Casa Rosada is definitely worth a stroll-by, both during the day when you can see the guards and the true colors of the buildings, and at night when you can see the building lit up. However, skip the tour unless you're Spanish-speaking and can find a single-language tour. I went on a bilingual tour where they conducted the tour in Spanish and then translated to English, which made the pace VERY slow. It also meant that people got antsy and during the English portions, Spanish speakers would start talking amongst themselves, making it very difficult to hear the tour guide (and vice versa). Would be great if they offered an option to stroll through at your own pace.

As another reviewer mentioned, be sure to pick up a ticket for your tour group once you get inside. When I visited last week, the tickets were numbered (instead of colored).

“Interesting visit inside”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

The President's House, the top balcony is from where Eva Peron aka Evita, used to address the massive crowds in the Plaza de Mayo. It is open to the public on weekends only, as during the week, is the office of the Argentine President. The tour is fun and you get to go through most rooms. The Changing of the Guard ceremony is very colorful and enchanting. The brass band is spectacular

“See it and keep on going”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

You cannot go inside. Just take a pic in front of it and keep exploring Plaza de Mayo. There are some interesting facts about it

“Interesting for a quick stop, if you are just passing by”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

Specially because there are other attrations on Plaza de Mayo, but I would not recommend going there just to see it. Nothing different from the photo.
