“Interesting visit inside”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

The President's House, the top balcony is from where Eva Peron aka Evita, used to address the massive crowds in the Plaza de Mayo. It is open to the public on weekends only, as during the week, is the office of the Argentine President. The tour is fun and you get to go through most rooms. The Changing of the Guard ceremony is very colorful and enchanting. The brass band is spectacular

“See it and keep on going”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

You cannot go inside. Just take a pic in front of it and keep exploring Plaza de Mayo. There are some interesting facts about it

“Interesting for a quick stop, if you are just passing by”

Specially because there are other attrations on Plaza de Mayo, but I would not recommend going there just to see it. Nothing different from the photo.

“Make sure to get your color-coded entrance card!”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

As with many Argentine attractions, you have to kind of figure it out with little help. Upon entry, make sure you go to the front of the entrance hall and get yourself a color card from the person standing there. The groups are designated by color and when they call your color, it's your time to shine! However, if you don't know you need to get a color-coated card, it's frustrating because you'll end up waiting that much longer for your ignorance. The tour is fun and kind of surreal to think that the president of the country works here during the week. You get to go through most rooms and see the outdated office equipment (fax machines from the early 1980s!), burned out light bulbs, and crumbling staircase. On the plus side, there's plenty of glitz and glam, too! Still, for a government building, you'd think they could cough up the pesos to keep the place better maintained.
