“Good location but not”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 15, 2012

The best part of the location of this hotel is that it is within walking distance of a lot of Buenos Aires. A park is just down the street and Florida Avenue shopping is two blocks away. The breakfast included with the room is very nice. The dining room is nice. Closeness to a lot of things is the nice part. Walking around the neighborhood at night is the not nice. Homeless pulled matresses onto the sidewalk next to the hotel. The sidewalks are narrow and not in good repair. You have to walk at night with your guard up.

Room Tip: We liked street side the best.

My experience in this place was bad, I will not visit again until it's get remodeled.

Unpleaseant stay, Bathroom are not clean, and not practical there are not shower doors, water gets all over the bath floor, old carpet, small TV you can barely watch it from your bed.

Elevage was the first hotel on our honeymoon! The hotel is well located very close to a lot of restaurants and shopping centre (not that we bought anything from there more expensive than the uk!)

The hotel itself was nice, clean, the hotel room was a decent size. The restaurant where they serve breakfast is a little run down and there wasn't a lot of choice in terms of the breakfast buffet. But lots of great restaurants in close proximity. There is also another restaurant downstairs which we didn't go to but looked abut more upmarket, the bar also downstairs was very nice. Although the bar tender had to google our cocktails!.

Overall a nice hotel, good location, fit for purpose

This hotel was one of 3 selected by Air NZ for the All Blacks tour 2012, The Concierge exchanged some currency to Argentinian pesos for a good rate on the first night to give us some local money, she and all desk staff spoke very good English. The bar downstairs was a good congregating area for a Quilmes or 3. Handy location to shops and Subte station. Continental breakfasts were ok, Rooms were cleaned daily, the staff were friendly, our room overlooking the pool was quiet. Try El Establo - a short walk for a nice steak!

This hotel provides nice rooms and service and is very reasonably priced for what it offers. I was on crutches healing up from a broken leg. Of all the 17 hotels I stayed at on this trip, the staff of this hotel, made the biggest effort to make sure that I got the help, I needed. It is a pleasant hotel and well located. I visit Buenos Aires at least once every two years and will return here.

Hotel staff in Buenos Aires usually treats clients as if they wish you had gone someplace else. This was a pleasant surprise with very friendly and efficient staff that spoke excellent English. The Breakfast is nothing to write home about, but then the locals only eat mezzalunas anyway so they could not be blamed. The rooms were clean, modern and roomy and quiet for a very central location.

The Elevage is located a short 15 minute walk from the ferry port. The front desk was very helpful, the concierge gave us good advice about places to eat and found us a low-priced tango show of good quality, they also provided an foreign electricity plug adaptor upon request. The room was large and comfortable, heat was available and a mini-fridge. Breakfast selection was huge, of wide variety, including a large choice of fruit.
