I had a great stay at the Four Season in Buenos Aires for 8 days with a friend on April 2012. The standard room was spacious, and the bathroom outfitted with a large tub and large shower.

I found the staff and concierge to be kind and attentive. The food was reasonably priced and delicious - their empanadas were delicious! I would highly recommend this hotel. From the manager to the bellhops, they made our hotel stay feel like home.

Nice elegant hotel in great part of time. Many rooms renovated, very nice, great pool and terrific customer service. Breakfast buffet is tops. Aaron Fischer, front office supervisor, took customer service to the highest level.

Room Tip: Get the renovated rooms

My complaint of 30 years of eating in BA is that the beef is tasty but unreliable. No where could I find Dry Aged beef as good as Fairway Market in NYC or any top steakhouse. Well, I take it back. The new Elena succeeds with an 800 gram T bone steak worthy of Sparks. It took two attempts and some NYC pushiness to get it done right, but my beef was A++. Reminder, they make a tender and tasty "pulpo" as well and keep a fine wine list !

We stayed a week at the Four Seasons in late November. Wonderful place. Recently went through major renovations (actually still are). The day after we arrived the opened their brand new lobby and pool area. The Mansion portion of the hotel is very, very elegant and a great place for parties. The also had a grand opening celebration for the new lobby, new restaurant and new bar. Very upscale. The hotel is right in the middle of the city within short walks to fine dining and shopping.

Room Tip: Request a room overlooking the pool and mansion.

This use to be our favorite hotel in Buenos Aires.. Primarily because of their Bar and Restaurant. We would come back from a day of working and all the staff in the Bar made you feel so welcome and it was warm and relaxing. Last time we were there we ate in the restaurant 3 out of 4 nights it was that good. The property is being remodeled and the new restaurant “Stable Themed” leaves much to be desired and the Bar lacks any atmosphere at all. I was told they are going for the local clientele. I hope it works for them it didn’t for us. We ate the first night in the Elena restaurant and it was a disaster. Had warm Brie as an appetizer only it was cold when we complained they took it back and put it directly on the hot grill and came back burnt and hard. The steak wasn’t much better. The location of this hotel is still good the rooms are what you would expect and the A/C worked well. We asked the Concierge about a neighborhood that had Art Galleries and she sent us to their Soho area unfortunately it was mostly trendy clothes and not Art Galleries. The restaurant she recommended wasn’t anything like she described. Usually if you have a reservation made by one of the top hotels you get pretty decent seats. We were seated far away from the windows with the river view in a nearly empty restaurant. We are definitely not returning to The Four Seasons. With the prices they charge it should be much better than this.

Room Tip: Don't get a room ending in 00 or 08 they are right across from the elevators and you can hear th...

Four Season is great place to enjoy BA. We did not spend too much time in general areas due to renovation. I am sure once renovation is over, hotel would be great place to enjoy your stay. We enjoyed location and service quality. Room was fantastic

We were in town for a family event. The hotel is very well located, right in the Recoleta section of town. The staff was superb. I went with my children and the hotel went out of their way to make them feel at home. They set the room up with tooth brushes and tooth paste for the kids, stuffed animals and special soaps. They made the kids feel right at home.

The rooms are very spacious. The bathrooms are great, especially the water pressure and the tubs. The breakfast was bountiful if not excessive. If anything, the service was too much in the restaurant. While the construction was still going on during our stay, it was hardly noticeable where we were on the 4th floor.

The exercise room was good, but not great. Not enough free weights or sufficient variety of machines, but it was still better than most hotels. They laid out juice and treats in the afternoon which were a great surprise. They also have apples all over the place.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The only complaint I would made is that our room overlooked a very busy freeway. Unlike the Park Hyatt which, although just a few blocks away, this hotel is right on the edge of the traffic in the area and not on the quiet streets. However, you are just a few blocks away from the peace of the neighborhood and the hotel makes up for any of the issues with traffic.
