A modern hotel, with excellent front of house staff located in a quiet street in Recoleta. Five minutes walk to good shopping area, only drawback was swimming pool which is indoors, quite small and very shallow. The restaurant was better than expected, breakfast was good and our evening meal even better. Well worth the room rate.

A great hotel in an upscale neighbourhood in the centre of Buenos Aires. Rooms are perfectly equipped but make certain you have the correct adaptor plugs and that you figure out how the electricity works for the room at the door switch. Our room was immaculate, the bathroom huge with every possible facility including bidet, shower and bathtub. Two full beds were very comfortable and the airco was adjustable. The comfortable rooms were very quiet and there was silence from adjoining rooms. The dining room has a medium sized menu for main meals but the food was beautifully prepared and presented and very tasty. Breakfasts were ample, generous, tasty, and eggs were perfectly prepared to our liking. The desk staff was most helpful for details and service. A classy establishment highly recommended!

Stayed at the Sofitel for three nights when on an escorted tour of Argentina and Brazil. The hotel was excellent friendly helpful staff excellent facilities wonderful room with everything required. Can’t recommend enough. My room was ready as soon as I arrived 10 am although not officially ready till Midday which was a bonus after a long flight from London Heathrow
