This place is awesome. Its near everything! The rooms are really nice and the attention is as good as you can expect ! The food at restaurant was quite good but I only ate there once. That's all I have to say but this guys require 200 characters.

While we stayed with my familiy in this hotel, we found everything friendly.
We stayed only 3 nights but everyone in the hotel gave us suggestions about different places to visit.

The rooms have good place and the breakfast was really complete.

What a miserable end to a fabulous trip. Just spent a month in Chile and Antarctica, ending with two nights in Buenos Aires. Such a comedown it's hard to put into words.

No turndown service unless you're a VIP, I was told. Why would a supposedly 5 star hotel be so rude to its guests as to say so?!

Warm coffee. Sloppy maidservice. Awful. Avoid at all costs.

After a long and unpleasant flight from Chicago (screaming children, sardine seating, inedible food that was probably rejected by Bangladesh), the Sofitel was quiet, clean and refreshing. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and dining in the cafe was reasonable and convenient, with a generous assortment of free appetizers.
Buenos Aires was the starting point for our cruise to Antarctica, and the Sofitel was a great beginning. Wonderful toiletries, too.

With my wife we had an outstanding experience at this property. From the arrival upon our check out everything rolled out on a very enjoyable way. Friendly and attentive staff, the hotel service is noted to be oriented into details.

A wortderful discover in Buenos Aires. Beatiful property & architecture, great food service, specially at the restaurant. Stylish rooms. We were honored at the check in by a room upgrade.

The hotel has a great position in the city close to some good restaurants and it is a good base from which to sightsee, but we found our two night stay there to be impersonal and unmemorable.
The front desk staff were polite but not particularly friendly. Our room was disappointing in that it had no view at all and when I asked to be changed, I was told that I had the best that was available. However, when our friends checked in some hours later, they were given a far superior room. We had to ask for breakfast service and were never given a breakfast menu. I appreciate that the hotel was full but we were disappointed and will not return.
