We turned up just after 8.00 p.m., their unadvertised but apparent opening time, to find the closed sign still displayed and nothing going on inside. After a few minutes of standing around they let us in.
In the time we were there, there was only one other couple dining, so reservations are probably unnecessary, unless you go at their busiest time, whenever that is.
There were no poppadoms on the menu, our traditional starter and a surprisingly small selection of meals on the main menu. The rice portion for two was also only really big enough for one.
The food we ordered was very tasty and so I have no real complaints, but this was just an average, rather than a special Indian experience. My local Indian restaurant at home is much better.
Maybe I have just been spoiled by the fantastic parrillas and traditional Argentinian restaurants we have dined at elsewhere this week.
A tasty, mid priced meal of average size, but unfortunately no wow factor here.
