“Know where you are going”
Reviewed March 3, 2013

I had a great stroll today through Palermo but ask for advice on your walking route before heading out. I had a few - ohboy am I going to get mugged - moments before I found the center of everything.

“Nice place to visit if you have more than 1 day in Bs.As.”
Reviewed March 2, 2013

Plenty of restaurants and shops to visit. It is a good option if you have some spare time after La Boca or Recoleta.

“Aptly named!”
Reviewed March 1, 2013

This was our favourite locale in Bs As and it is easy to say why it is compared to SoHo in New York. If ever we return to Bs As, we would stay in this area. It is a little out of the centre, but has so many cool boutiques, bars and restaurants. Do not miss.

“Fun to visit”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

It's a fun place to people watch, but not really the place for shopping if you are not into the highend stuff.

“Fun place to spend the day”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

BA is one of those cities that 2-3 days are enough. Palermo is a fun place to spend an afternoon. I say afternoon because nothing really opens until at least 1. There are a ton of fun cafes to eat at for lunch with excellent seating outside. Ladies, believe me when I advise HOLDING onto your bag if you sit outside. Do not lay it on a chair, the back of your chair or on the table. There are several shops here to stroll through but we really found the quality of the garments not up to snuff (in our opinion) in nearly every store. Crooked seams abound among other things even in the "high end" shops. If you visit Buenos Aires, you will definitely have to visit this area.
