I can often be found in KOI Sushi bar and resto, because the owners are very serious about the quality of the food and keeping the authenticity of a Japanese restaurant. The kitchen chef is of Japanese descent, and she has studied culinary school in Japan, and you see Japanese clients there all the time. I go for the excellent executive menu, which as of Sept 4th includes a starter like Miso soup, 12 pieces of excellent sushi and dessert, includes a drink too, for only 100 pesos.
The owner Jose speaks English, and is very accommodating. Highly suggested for those that want an authentic Japanese experience that focuses on quality, all at a reasonable price.
If you see me at lunch at the counter, say hi!
