Check in only took a few minutes and there were 2 people working the front desk and helping with luggage. Both spoke good English and were very friendly. The rooms were comfortable and had electric outlets that did not require a converter. The heating/cooling as well as lighting and the TV were easy to operate. The bathrooms were average. The shower door was only half of a door so a lot of water went to the floor. Fortunately there was a drain on the floor to handle this. The minibars had a good selection of snacks and were about average price. Room service was excellent and relatively inexpensive. It cost about $15 USD for a steak and potatoes dinner including tax and delivery charge. The complimentary breakfast included eggs, fruit, coffee, juice and a lot of different pastries. The dulce de leche filled pasteries were delicious. The location was close to lots of shopping and landmarks. The Recoletta Mall was a short walking distance as was a number of restaurants. There was also a cafe just down the street on Las Heras that exchanged dollars for pesos at 14 peso/ dollar which was much better than the 9.25/dollar they were offering at a nearby bank. There was also a pastry/confection store across the street that was excellent. Taxis were easy to arrange with the front desk. The front desk staff also had great suggestions for places to eat. The cost per night was $120 USD that included all taxes which was a great deal compared to any major U.S. city. Check out was quick and no surprise charges on the bill. I would definitely stay here again on a future visit to BA.

Very well located, good sized rooms, very reasonable price, friendly and professional staff. All in a very good experiene. Don't expect luxury, but it is definitely a very good option for Buenos Aires.

We booked a double room but it could certainly be a four person room. Really really spacious room( it’s the biggest room I ever had in a hotel). It is clean, no carpets on the floor, we stayed there for 5 nights and they changed bed linen during our stay. However, the bed basis was covered with a dirty linen which should be immediately cleaned. There is a safe in the room, not 100% electronic, it has a strange way of functioning but its fine for what we need it. Breakfast is served on the ground floor and is fine but nothing special. Wifi is reliable and available in each room. It’s a 15-20 min walk from metro station Pueyrredon . It’s a safe area with some cafes and restaurants around, which are a bit overpriced since they are located around Recoleta Cemetery, which is considered to be one of the main tourist attractions. Reception Staff are helpful and kind. Do exchange your money at the reception-they offer really attractive rates.

Visited for a business convention. Rooms were clean, albeit not luxurious. Well stocked minibar with exorbitant prices, which is to be expected at any hotel, so that wasn't a surprise.

TV has no English channels, even though channels are those shown across Latin America like AXN, Sony, Warner, etc and that can easily be switched between languages using the SAP-button. But since they only distribute the audio signal in mono (to save money during cabling, I assume) this can't be done as it requires a stereo signal. No CNN or other international news channels. But 15 soccer channels and a few religious channels.

WIFI is beyond abysmal. I have never, ever, in a hotel that offers "free wifi" had this bad service. I had to use 3G to use Internet. Wonder if I should send this hotel the bill once it arrives? I work on the Internet extensively, so it was extremely frustrating.

Phone does not work. I had to reconnect the phone in another outlet to make it work.
After the problems with the phone, I phoned to reception to ask for room service. I was hungry, it was pouring outside and called for their room service. They simply said there was no room service since they use their services from another restaurant and that restaurant hadn't answered the phone in hours. WHAT????

Included breakfast is meager, at best. Some cereals, milk, yoghurt, coffee, stale bread, etc.

Though location is good, it doesn't excuse the fact that this is supposed to be a "luxury" hotel. There is nothing luxury about this. I would not recommend ANYONE to visit this hotel until they iron out their issues.

----

The hotel is located in the heart of one of Buenos Aires' most traditional neighborhoods. It is very close to shops, restaurants and nightlife. The hotel staff is great but the cleanliness is poor. The rooms are big but need maintenance and thorough cleaning! The wifi is also a mess. They need some advice on how to do this right, as they have like 400 difierent networks and your connection just jumps from one to the other.
