Gabriel and Carolina were outstanding tour guides, giving us a delightful overview of Argentina and Buenos Aires. Their English was fantastic and their tour of the cementerio de recoleta and av alvear was the prefect length. This tour is a must for any English-speaking tourist to the city. They are more than willing to answer your questions and give you advice about activities in the city. Make sure you tip them well; they more than earn it!

Highly recommended! This was a great tour! Very informative. The guide's English was very good. He was very knowledgeable and answered everyone's questions. The tour was scheduled for two hours, and ended up lasting about 25 minutes over. The highlight was an extensive tour of Recoleta Cemetary. At the end, the guide gave us a guide to restaurants and places to go, as well as a language guide. Two thumbs up!

We had been told prior to arriving in Buenos Aires that we should do this tour and it was great advice! The tour was so interesting and our tour guide Gabriel had excellent knowledge of Recoleta Cemetery and the area. Seeing this cemetery is a must do when in Buenos Aires and I personally think it would be pointless to see it without a tour guide because there's so much to learn about the history of the cemetery, and buena onda is definitely the tour to use. Gabriel also gave us a great tour of the area. On the day of our tour it happened to be the 60th anniversary of Eva Peron's death and unknowingly, there were cameras there taking videos of people visiting the grave to be used in the website for a newspaper. We were in the video and Gabriel sent us on the link through our email which we really appreciated. Overall, a must-do in BA

Wow! What fantastic people the tour guides, Caroline and Gabriel, are. They were the nicest, most personable people we could have asked for. Their English (in our case) was impeccable; their knowledge of the area was second to none; their company was delightful; and the love for their city was evident.

We were in town for business and happened to be there on Independence Day. It was our good fortune that we contacted Buena Onda to ask for a tour. They were where they told us that they would be at the time we agreed upon.

They brought so much understanding of the Recoleta area that we would not have gained otherwise. They were able to understand and answer our every question, plus provide us with history and pictures of past events or architectural equivalents of the mansions, now turned into embassies, hotels, etc. They gave us a taste of the local lore, culture, and everyday living in Buenos Aires. They shared their experiences and goals for the future. They even helped us plan our evening meal - on a holiday where few restaurants are open and fewer that open at an hour that those from the USA normally eat (normal hours for dinner are 8pm - midnight).

Although they ask for no payment, we gave them a handsome tip for sharing their time, talent, history and city with us. Contacting Buena Onday was one of the best decisions we made during our trip!

What can I say that hasn't already been said by the previous reviews? My husband and I were lucky enough to be the only folks on the tour and we had a very fun time. Caroline and Gabriel were informative and gracious, and directed us to a nice little cafe after our time ended. I love Recoleta and I loved it even more after our tour.
