We had a great time at the ranch, we rode horses (some of us for the first time) and ate delicious food. We learned many things about Argentina and the gauchos thanks to our guide Manuel and our driver Cesar, who were both very polite and spoke excellent English.

This day was one of our favorites! Starting with a hotel pickup by Cesar who transported us to San Antonio de Areco. He was filled with information on the trip to the town. Our tour guide, Laura, was waiting for us upon arrival. She lives in the town, so her background information and tour was so informative and enjoyable. We even met three of her children and her husband as we walked past her house. Our day then continued at the Estancia El Ombu de Areco. The horseback ride was so peaceful and relaxing with all the open land. This was followed by a traditional Argentinian asado (bbq) with delicious food and Malbec wine. Then on to the gaucho dancing show, including the two year old son of one family. The most entertaining part was the horse whisperer. Everyone was mesmerized. Guillermo from Camino Pampa was in constant contact prior to our arrival in Buenos Aires. Thanks for a great experience. Definitely contact Camino Pampa and take this tour!

Our day trip to experience a little bit of Gaucho culture was excellent. The communication beforehand was complete. The pickup at our apartment was on time with a courteous driver. We met our tour guide Guillermo in the traditional gaucho town of San Antonio de Areco. He was engaging and his knowledge of the history and culture was outstanding. This was exactly what I wanted for my adult son and his fiancé to hear about. After a couple of hours in the town we moved to the Estancia. It appears to be very authentic and is still a working ranch. We enjoyed the horse back ride. I selected this particular tour because the typical Argentine asado appeared to be the best and most complete. I was not disappointed. The display of horse training by the young gauchos was very impressive and memorable.

We had four adults and two young children picked up at our rental home downtown on time, by a courteous driver in a spotless van, and it got better from there. A great visit to the shop of a talented and friendly clay artist, a stroll through a silversmith shop and museum, a short drive to a working ranch, horseback riding, great food, argentine music and dancing and a trip back home with plenty of fond memories and two very happy kids. Guillermo was our friendly and knowledgeable guide with excellent English language skills, José María our very professional driver. Will do it again with our next set of grandchildren.

Pick up and information before start of the tour was very professional. The tour started with a stop at the town San Antonio de Areco, where our tour, we felt, was too short. Our tour guide Guillermo did a fantastic job and kept us enthusiastic throughout the day. After we headed off to the Estancia we really enjoyed our tour. The horseback-ride was funny and a lovely thing to do. The lunch afterwards was awesome and nice. The estancia itself was authentic and the dance and horse shows were brilliant. We would like to highlight the Gauchos and all people around the Estancia as they treat their guests really well. As it was such an authentic and not too touristic place, we can recommend booking this tour, although the price was settled quite on the higher end.
