Fee: Yes
Recommended length of visit: More than 3 hours
Owner description: Ride off the beaten path with unconventional guided cycling tours of Buenos Aires. Not only do you learn about local history and culture from folks who live here, you also can take tours of farther-off spots such as the Tigre Delta and estancias, or traditional large rural ranches and estates.

“A nice intro to the city”
Reviewed February 15, 2014

Being a regular cyclist, I wanted to get a feel for Buenos Aires so decided a bike tour was the best bang for the buck. Our guide was very knowledgeable, the bikes acceptable - I tried out a bamboo ride to see what it was like they creak!! I got exactly what I expected - an overlay of the city to help plan my next few days on foot.

“Fun full day of biking and kayaking”
Reviewed February 2, 2014

We booked the full day-biking/kayaking as a way to get out of the city and see the surrounding sites. It turned out to be a fantastic day. Our guide, Federico, met us on time and quickly equipped us with bikes, helmets and water. The bikes are in good repair, however more comfortable seats would be great! We can't say enough good about Federico. He spoke excellent English and was very personable. In total there were my husband, myself and one other couple on our tour. The biking included approximately 12 miles of mostly residential streets with a small bit of biking in traffic. Relatively flat. We stopped about every thirty minutes for historical and cultural explanations and to see sites (drinking mate, wandering a small market, taking in views). We then kayaked for about an hour before lunch. Federico did a great job of giving those of us that are new to kayaking a crash course in the basics. (NOTE - you will get wet. Lockers are provided. If you want to take your camera with you on the kayak be sure to put it in a plastic sealed bag. My phone was in a tied plastic grocery sack and got soaked. Still not working!). The day we were there it was difficult to get across the river due to a lot of boat traffic and wind creating chop. Once in the lagoon it was very peaceful. We stopped for lunch and were served a traditional parilla - grilled meats accompanied by bread, salad and drinks. It was plentiful. Then back on the kayaks and once again across a choppy river. Followed by a short bike ride to the train station. Train ride back to the city to end the tour. We would highly recommend this tour.

“Excellent BA tour”
Reviewed January 24, 2014

Nice 3 ½ - 4 hour guided tour around southern BA. Would normally include Ecological Reserve, but heavy rains on preceding day closed the reserve the day we went. Request a conventional mountain bike when you reserve; the "bamboo bikes" are single speed and rather clunky. Very nice easy way to see both some of the usual tourist musts, as well as some of the neighborhoods. Good guide (Frederico) on our trip. Recommended.

“Best Experience We Had In BA!”
Reviewed January 22, 2014

If you do nothing else in Buenos Aires, do this tour. It is about half a day, and includes so many parts of the city. My girlfriend and I went early on the first day, and it gave us so much knowledge and information about the city that we used during the rest of our trip. We visited and did so much in such a short amount of time. We went back to many of the places we saw on the tour. Diego was THE BEST! Answered all of our questions and was so patient. Really great English speaker and very funny. All-around great guy and a great tour. DO IT!
