This restaurant is amazing - where the glasses of wine are nearly as big as your head and everything is sooooo tasty. We asked in reception of our hotel for a restaurant that locals would go to and were directed to this. We were not disappointed, but like in any good Argentinan restaurant, you need to love meat. The setting is simple but nice. We ordered steak and a mixed grill, portions are not small either. We also got some breads and dips which were so tasty. The staff did not speak much English, but with my pigeon Spanish and some gesturing we got everything we wanted and they could not have been more helpful. Even when I asked for a good red wine for my steak what I got was one of the best wines I have had in a long time. Pricing was reasonable too considering the quality of food. I would go back tomorrow.

Went two weeks in a row to the restaurant. The first week we paid our bill and the waiter walked back to our table saying we gave him a fake 100peso bill. It was clearlly fake. The second week i looked at all bills before we paid. None of them were fake. As we were walking out of the restaurant the waiter stops us as hands us a REALLY fake 100 and claims we gave it to him. Not a chance that bill was ours! Will never go back again!!!

So far my favourite steak ive had here. The waiter was really nice and helpful, I had lomo and Katy had skirt steak. Both came out the way we wanted them (rare) and were HUGE. With spinach and french fries it was a bit too much to finish. We had a good bottle of malbec and the waitwr insisted we have both champagne and limoncello on the house.

It was a nice night and id recommend it

We walked to San Telmo to have dinner from our Recoleta apartment which was quite a hike. The restaurant is really beautiful and charming. They have a picture of the restaurant as it looked many, many years ago when it was a meat market. We had a wonderful waiter who actually gave my adorable single friend two free glasses of champagne.

We ordered a wonderful bottle of wine that we shared. The bread was delicious and they served it with these beans that I didn't recognize. The beans were drowning in this delicious garlic olive oil that was to die for.

We ordered two different salads that were amazing. They were off the "special salad" menu and included tons of cheese.

I had the beef ribs which were an obscene portion of meat. Hubby got the rib eye which was cooked perfectly and an enormous portion. Our friends split a steak and they were glad they did when they saw how large it was. We also got two potatoes, one was a sweet potato and one was rosemary. They were incredible.

All in all it was a wonderful meal with great service and very easy on the pocketbook!

We went to this parillada restaurant teice because just loved it.
The athmosphere is really nice, the restaurant nit too big.we did not reserve a table and always got one,but this place is always full with Argentinians eating out there.
The meat is sensationell,so are the portions! Huge!! And you pay between 90.-- to 105.-- Peso for a meat of 350-550 gramms!
Sideorders (pommes or baked potstoes cost extra, but one side order for two pax is enough!
Winelist is oke aswell.
Staff is really nice too.on our first visit, one meat wasn't good and they cooked us a new one with no discussions.
And they serve a free glass of Champagne aswell .
