Sante is a lovely small restaurant for a middle of the week dinner (Friday or Saturday nights may leave you feeling a bit underwhelmed). They have a small but tasty menu and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommended for a solo glass of wine or cafe in the early evening, or a casual dinner where food, service and atmosphere is important.

We went with a friend at dinner time. What really called my attention was that the place was almost empty at 9.00pm on a Thursday. The menu is Ok, it is just another regular resto in the city that combines some mediterranean dishes with japanese/perouvian appetizers and french desserts. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is just fine, simple.

Since we are staying just a block from this restaurant, we decided to give it a try for lunch. We decided on the bife de chorizo lunch special. It came with a delicious slice of polenta and a couple of practically inedible braised leeks - very stringy and tough. The steak was tasty and served over chimichurra sauce which was excellent. However, in spite of asking for muy jugoso, the steak was medium-well done. The servers were efficient and it was a pleasant atmosphere. However, I would say it would not be worth going back for us. We've had better at lower prices than Sante.

More than a bar, it is a very good restaurant. The service is just correct, no smiles, but the food is delicious. They also have a good selection of wines.

You may call it a Bar restaurant because of its short menu. Still the freshly made fish dishes including Peruvian ceviche, the spinach dumplings, some smart desserts, the nice attention and the friendly owner help for a cosy atmosphere. The price is moderate. Santé may not stand out and only its neighbours may know about it but it is a "Pearl" ;it is worth going for dinner. Not to be missed
