“Amazing spot!”
Reviewed July 24, 2012

Excelent location! Clean! Quiet! Perfect in the middle of palermo soho. Near two pleasant squares. And near the better restaurants in BsAs.Can go walking to most of it...
Be careful with the change amount and conversion! In my case was better to pay in dollars then pesos argentinos! Congrats to Mariano, the owner! Certainly recommended and will be back soon!

The place is awesome and Palermo is a never ending experience.
I've been there for just 5 days around February 2012, during an IT conference, and I couldn't get any better place to stay. This place is actually the heart of Palermo. Is next to everything! Best restaurants, best fashion stores...and close to all kind of public transportation (you should arm with patience for that!). The price is affordable.
The place is a six apartments building, hidden from the outside (wich makes the place quiet and away from the , sometimes, overcrowded Palermo!). My appartment was fully equipped with A/C , cable TV , a big bed and a small fridge that I use to have snacks and soft drinks... You have a small kitchen if you dare to cook !
The guy that manages this hotel was always well disposed at any time. He was friendly and gave me plenty advices about where to go or eat.
The experience of being in the trendy area of Buenos Aires, was potentiated by the warmth of hospitality....I honestly recommend the place

Location is great. The apartments are modern efficiencies that have really everything that you need. Mariano is also really nice and super attentive, and made everything very easy to get aquainted with the area(as well as being in a different country, of course). The location is sweet because its right in the middle of all the good restaurants and is in walking distance to all kinds of cool stuff including great Tango spots, restaurant areas, bar areas with younger crowds, and cheap but really good steak places, or fancy fusion places. I highly recommend starting here for Buenos Aires. I stayed there for a month and I will stay there again.

Room Tip: All rooms are the same I think.

This place is right in the centre of where u wanna be. Easy to walk around Palermo for the shops, restaurants, cafes, bars. Safe location. Peaceful neighbourhood. The owner was really welcoming and helpful with any requests we had. The apartment was modern and had everything you would need for a long or short stay.

Perfect studio apartments right in the heart of Palermo Soho, a location which is hard to beat in Buenos Aires.

Our apartment was very clean, equipped with all necessary mod cons, and had a nice interior design. The owner Mariano was very friendly and always willing to help with absolutely whatever whenever. He also seemed to have travelled quite a bit himself and understood well what independent travelers maybe would be interested to see and do in Buenos Aires.

The studios are all located inside a block and felt completely safe and very quiet at night even though there are dozens of great restaurants and bars just a few steps away.

The only small minus we could think of is the 0.5km walk to the nearest Subte (metro) stop.

A true gem and a bargain, which I most definitely would recommend to anyone going to Buenos Aires.

Stayed for a week and can't rave enough about Soho Point. Near new, good size and spacious accommodation, bright and airy, the location is unbeatable with restaurants, bars and boutique shops right on the doorstep. To use public transport, the metro is 20mins walk, though taxis are cheap enough. There are some fantastic tango and salsa milonga's nearby as well. I loved BA and a week was not long enough...enjoy!!

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Effort and love are the two words that inspired me to create the Soho Point back in 2009. This fully equipped studio condominium is formed by 6 spacious and bright units and is located in the heart of Palermo Soho, one of the coolest places in Buenos Aires. My experienced in travelling away from home made me want to create a space where guests could feel warm, just like home. This is how I got the idea of building this special and unique place in Buenos Aires. The Soho Point is not a hotel, but it’s not just an apartment. Soho Point is a new concept in tourism where you are always welcome without feeling stuck in a rigid structure. You will be able to manage your schedule and activities, but at the same time you will always find someone willing to give you some advice, guide you in the city or even help you with any problem that can come up at any time. The Soho Point is in the middle of a popular area so you will find people in the streets 24/7, but this building is designed to give you peace whenever you need it. As soon as you get inside the Soho Point, you will be welcomed by a nice patio full of colourful flowers which guarantee you tranquility and privacy. Around it you will find the 6 units, so each apartment has a pleasant view of the internal patio. All the apartments are brand new and fully-equipped. Each living has a comfortable sofa with a coffee table next to a large window where you can feel the breeze and relax. Then you have a big bed with pure cotton sheets in front of a LCD TV where you will be able to rest in comfort. The kitchen area has all the equipment you will need to prepare quick dishes in case you want to make a home-made meal. The bathroom is also fully-equipped and is decorated with great style. At Soho Point there’s also a cleaning service daily with no extra charge. The Soho Point couldn’t be in a better location. The neighbourhood is one of the trendiest places in Buenos Aires because it is full of restaurants, bars, night clubs, design stores and people from all over the country. So just 2 blocks away from the Soho Point you will be able to meet new people, share your experiences and learn things from the Argentinian culture.Welcome to the Soho Point, Travel and live your own way.Hope to see you soon!
