Stayed for three nights here. The rooms here are brilliant - love the setup and décor, not to mention the sheer size of the room! Sleep quality was high. Staff were great - helpful and friendly.

The breakfast was a bit hit and miss - whilst we didn't really want to eat eggs and meat for breakfast and so wanted to focus on the cereal, yoghurt and fruit. On one day we received a decent sized fruit salad as a replacement for not eating eggs and meat, on the other days we received the very small sized salad, which was a little frustrating. But it was a minor thing.

One issue was with the pool. The pool itself is great and you have an excellent high-rise suburban view but with the temperature being 23 degrees for a couple of days, the pool was too hot for me to use in the evening when the sun went down. Not sure what can be done about that, but it would be too hot to use the pool in summer.

All in, great hotel in an excellent location in Palermo. Highly recommended, one of the best I've stayed in, in recent times.

Stayed here with my parents and my girlfriend for four nights and had a great time.

The front-desk service was superb, the rooms were spacious and the wifi was very quick. Great location to go and explore the city with lots of great places to eat and drink nearby.

Breakfast was a highlight, too - one if the best I have come across.

Would have no hesitation recommending it and will go back next time we're in Buenos Aires!

If you want to feel like a porteño during your stay in Buenos Aires, Fierro Hotel should be your address. The rooms feel like apartments, and the restaurant feels like your dining room. The excellent location in Palermo Hollywood is convenient to restaurants, bars, and the subway. The garden behind the hotel is a fantastic spot for a late night cocktail. Ask for the artisanal gin. Last but not least, the special supper on Monday evenings is not to be missed. The meal was a true treat!

Room Tip: The rooms on the back side of the hotel overlook a garden. They are serene.

What a great choice among the boutique hotels in the Palermo Hollywood area of Buenos Aires. Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were spacious and terrific (interestingly had one NA-friendly outlet too) and the location was great to cafes and restaurants and the other great Palermo Soho across the tracks.

Fierro also boasts a terrific restaurants with an acclaimed chef. Every week or so they do One Table, a tasting menu that's with a big group and delicious and worthwhile. But the restaurant is good anyway, and the (included) breakfast is great including the most delicious eggs I've had in awhile.

Taxis are very inexpensive in Buenos Aires and it's not that far from a key subway line to go into the center. The only other neighborhood I've heard people talk about staying in is more glamorous Recolata which is closer into the center of town.

Room Tip: I suppose you could ask for the side away from the street especially if you're getting the 1st f...

My friend and I stayed here for two nights when we first arrived in Buenos Aires in October, 2013. Our experience was excellent and I would certainly stay here again. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the hotel itself was very clean and modern- nicely decorated, with a great restaurant- we especially enjoyed sitting out on the patio enjoying wine or breakfast or tapas. The room was just a pleasure to be in, spacious with comfy beds and pillows and many special touches. The location also can't be beat, it's an easy walk to all the restaurants and shopping in Palermo. We were sad to leave.

Staff very friendly (everybody at reception speaks English). Great room, great bed, great bathroom. Free, good internet (I really appreciate that!). Outside patio. One of the electricity plugs is actually a US one! Restaurant was fully booked, so we had room service (delicious). We had electricity even when due to higher-than-usual heat there were blackouts in many other places in Buenos Aires (this could be pure chance though). Minibar not outrageously expensive. P.S. the balcony is tiny,so do not count on it (great for drying things though). Overall - very happy we chose this place.

I had been travelling thoughout Patagonia for three weeks in some pretty sketchy places, so coming here on my last night before heading home was a real treat. I got upgraded to a balcony suite (I probably looked like I needed it!). The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. I might have spent a half hour in the 'rain' shower! The balcony was a real treat to sit out on in the evening. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nothing short of incredible. I did eat at HG that night and it was a real treat. Even spent a bit of time soaking myself in the jacuzzi on the rooftop. Cannot say enough good things about this place. If I come back to BA, I coming back here.
