We had a pleasant stay here at this small, very personal hotel. The rooms are well appointed and full of character. The front of house are pleasant and helpful when making extra bookings and enquiries. The restaurant is first class and we had a great dinner there on one of the nights we stayed. Breakfast is a unique experience, perhaps a little too fancy, when as travellers we really need a hearty basic breakfast. Plus the breakfast was exactly the same each morning, which can be a little boring. The location of the hotel is away from the shops, restaurants and nightlife of Palermo, perhaps a 30 min walk at least. If you don't mind the subway, the city is 45 min away.
I would select a hotel in the city centre or in Palermo next time, the distances travelled are not rewarded enough here.More
