“A perfect place”

First in Buenos Aires and needed a good hotel. Indeed, we found that. Perfect location, wonderful staff where it is possible to get all the help you need. The rooms are big, clean and everything works perfect. The beds are king sieze beds. The prics for a room are very fair and you will indeed get very good value for your money.

Stayed at Fierro Hotel for a week in a balcony suite.

Positives:
* High standard in rooms and hotel in general. Modern decor.
* Never tried the restaurant, but the breakfast was great. Small but great.
* Knowledgeable and friendly staff who speak english. Excellent breakfast waiting staff.
* Cool but small rooftop pool and a few sunbeds. Nothing to hang out at with if you have kids, but good enough for cooling off on hot days.
* Quiet location in cool Palermo which is full of restaurants, bars and great shopping. The hotel is located slightly off the main streets.
* Complimentary access to a gym 5 minutes away. The gym isn't really of western standard, but certainly good enough for a proper workout.
* Safe for your valuables in the hotel room
* Complimentary wi-fi.

Negatives:
* Location might be perceived as a bit off, as you need to walk for a while to get to the interesting parts of Palermo.
* We got the room underneath the rooftop pool. When the waterfall was turned on early in the morning the room got really noisy.
* Soler is fairly heavy trafficated, and the noise might bother the sensitive guest.
* Tiny and slow elevator. At busy hours you have to wait forever for the elevator to get to your floor.

Room Tip: Street traffic might be noisy. A few floors up should be quieter.

The trip advisor reviews are spot on for this hotel and led to a great selection.

Pros:
+ Great location within 10 minutes to all the best dining and shopping in Palmero / Soho. Felt safe to walk at all hours of day and night
+ Very nice staff.
+ Modern rooms with boutique feeling design
+ Very clean and good housekeeping
+ Access to gym / pool facilities
+ Good value when compared to hotels in Recoleta (i.e. Alvear, Park Hyatt etc.)

Cons
+ Breakfast is good but the eggs stand to be vastly improved
+ The spa recommendation (Experiencia Nirvana) was the worst spa I've ever been to. Just terrible! Avoid at all costs!

This was our second hotel in Buenos Aires, and it was great. The front desk staff were knowledgeable and very helpful. From the moment we checked in they were more than happy to answer questions we had on everything from taxis, to restaurants, to best options for public transportation. We were amazed at their kindness in helping us make our flight home, which was not for many hours after the morning check-out time. They kept our bags for us during the day, and offered for us to use the showers by the roof-top pool to refresh before making the trip to the airport. With a 10 hour flight ahead of us, we were thankful for the offer.
Our room was so pleasant, with it's own private balcony over looking the garden in the back. We found we spent many late afternoons sitting out there reading before heading out for a late dinner- so restful, exactly what vacation should be! The breakfast was included, and was good, very convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fierro and would absolutely recommend it to anyone making a trip to Buenos Aires/Palermo.

Room Tip: The rooms with private patios overlooking the gardens were more, but absolutely worth it!

Stayed at the Fierro Hotel last July for six days. Great room - comfortable, clean, quiet, bright and spacious. Comfy king sized bed with clean sheet covers for top and bottom -- no nasty bedspread. Most indulgent rainfall shower I have ever experienced. Neighborhood (Palermo Hollywood) is like the Village or Tribecca in New York -- a little gritty, but with lots of cool stuff. If you want a more sanitized hood, try Recoleta. Breakfast was included in the cost of the room and very good. Desk was very helpful.

Room Tip: The street in front of the hotel - Solerno- can be busy. My room was in the back - quiet with with...

I had a great stay (only for one night unfortunately) at Fierro Hotel in BA. Uncomplicated service, whilst attention to details are always carefully looked after, I felt I was like at home with lots of attention. Great features are: Nespresso Machine in the room, great dinining room, and a breakfast served at the table (no cheap buffet breakfast). The rooms are spacious and the bed is very comfortable. I would have loved a larger bathroom but since I wasn't staying long it was ok.

I would recommend the property and would definitely return in the future.

Room Tip: I was on the 4th floor, overlooking the garden (small but cute!)

I stayed in three different hotels during my trip to Buenos Aires including the Sheraton. All I can say is that I am so sorry I didn't stay here during my entire trip. This place exceeded my expectations ten fold. As much as you read reviews, your expectations are usually not met, but this place is definitely different... great boutique hotel in the trendy Palermo Hollywood area. I came in after a bad day, three hour delayed flight, almost getting ripped of by a cab driver, walking in the rain, etc. and was delighted instantly once I walked in. I didn't want to leave and I didn't after such a bad day. Super sleek, super comfy suite... awesome home away from home. Awesome bed, awesome shower, towel warmer, and super clean. This place is great. They even come knocking on your door to leave you chocolates in the afternoon. The front desk staff and door guy were very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. The restaurant below is another plus. Great attention to detail, presentation, service, comfort, etc. *STAY HERE!*
