We scheduled several walking tours in Buenos Aires with Buenos tours. Our guide Oliver was great. He asked what our interest were, set up the tour so that we could see what interested us. The pace was set by us and even after walking 3.5 hours we were good. The break at a local coffee house was well timed and interesting. Would recommend this service as a must do if you are in Buenos Aires.

We booked a 6 hour tour with a little apprehension - we need not have worried.
We had a great guide an ex pat New Yorker who lived in BA with a family for 14 years .
Richard was just great - we are in our 70's the tour was at our pace [ and we covered a lot]
Recoleta in the morning when it wasn't too hot then a coffee stop and on to San Telmo and lunch to suit us, at whatever level we liked.
A great informative and interesting tour catered for our interests with a great guide

My wife and I had two full days in Buenos Aires on our way to Ushuaia to embark on an Antarctica expedition. Buenos Tours was an excellent first day activity efficiently to tour key locations in BA, and to learn the history of the place. Plus the guide (Oliver) provided or confirmed good ideas to keep us occupied on our free day. As to the latter, that was a terrific book store, Oliver, not just for the theatrics but for lunch.

My husband and I booked a day tour to Colonia de Sacramento, UR with BuenosTours. Our guide Oliver was wonderful from beginning to end. He responded promptly to my emails giving detailed information about the tour and answering my questions. On the day of the tour, Oliver meet us at our hotel in Buenos Aires and spent the entire day with us from hotel pick up to drop off (aside from some time in the afternoon for us to wander around Colonia on our own). He toured us around Colonia giving us the history of the town and answering our many questions. He arranged for our ferry tickets and guided us through the ferry terminal and passport control. All expenses for the day were covered by the tour - transportation to & from hotel, ferry tickets, lunch, afternoon ice cream, museum entrance fees. He also included a mate lesson during the tour which was interesting. Great day! Thank you Oliver!
