Being a student and only visiting Buenos Aires for a short time, tangol was the best option I could ask for. Besides going on a wonderful tour and having a great time at the futbol game, the customer service was terrific. Anytime I wanted to double check a booking or had a question, they would respond promptly and always have an answer for me. I recommend using tangol for all your Buenos Aires trip adventures.

“Great fun at the footy”
Reviewed March 29, 2013

We went to see Argentina v Paraguay in the world cup qualifier last week and had a great time. We booked via Tengol tours in San Telmo, very last minute and were fortunate enough that they still had a few tickets left and we had been told by many locals the game was sold out.

Booking via a travel agent does obviously mean you pay more for the ticket but the price does include transport to and from the game and a guide. Our guide Andres was really good fun, constantly telling stories, cracking jokes and making sure we were all ok

When you arrive at the stadium its a little confusing and a bit intimidating with all the armed police. There are several single sex security check to go through, which is easy enough for the men to find as they just follow the crowd. For the women however things start to get a little bit tricky, without our guide I would never have been able to find where to go and I expect would have easily lost my boyfriend in among the mass of people. Andres constantly made sure the group stayed together and were safe.

The game its self was great, the atmosphere was just what you would expect from an international game and really was a once in a life time experience. We were really grateful to Tangol tours and our guide who really helped to make our night and enjoyable one.

“River Plate vs. Deportivo Merlo march 2012”
Reviewed August 6, 2012

Second visit to Buenos Aires, second home match of River Plate I’m
fortunate to fit into my planning. Describing the event remains
difficult but I accept the challenge. The overwhelming feeling of
solidarity swells with the mass while nearing the stadium and the
sensation starts when ascending the concrete stairs. Since the
illustrious club degraded in 2011 for the first time in its history
their followers multiplied, so to some extent watching the team in its
only year in the Segunda Division is extra remarkable. Already they
have returned to the highest level, heading back to the top of S-A
football. What once was the Argentinian Ajax during its golden years
has now been clasped into the supporters hearts as their beloved
underdog, while ironically their eternal rivals Boca Juniors from a
migration neighborhood face an opposite fate. Here, being fan of one
team excludes supporters of the opponent from your social
surroundings. A full Kuip is beautiful, a half-filled el Monumental
surpasses it, leave that to the football-crazed Argentinians.
Unfortunately during River – Deportivo Merlo the stadium was loaned to
Roger Waters, but a few barrio’s further a worthy replacement is
found. It’s the content that counts and with tens of thousands singing
for hours from the steep stands it seems lives depend on football
here. Complete madness of the pleasant kind. As a favorite for
promotion, the game was won 2-0 to complete this weekend’s party. Old
world champion and lifelong River fan David Trezequet usually starts
on the bench for a role as pinch hitter, but started in the basic team
to score the first goal with a header. The young team behind him
contains the talent to remember. Future players to brag about are
Ocampos en Cirigliano, while four years ago the then unknown Falcao
who by now won two Europe League’s in a row played here. A search on
Wikipedia shows the world class players that are part of the club’s
history and the current emphasis on youth is looking promising. The
experience of the next inevitable game is guaranteed.

“Great Service, Excellent Guides and an all round worthwhile experience”
Reviewed July 24, 2012

Me and my friends had been thinking about going to a football game whilst in Buenos Aires and someone recommended Tangol's football tours. Thanks to them we had an amazing once-in-a lifetime experience at the game and I would definately do it all over again. Tangol guides were more than helpful, we felt safe throughout the whole experience and it was great to have someone with us in what is definately a worthwhile spectacle. Definately recommend using Tangol if you are up for a footy game!
