I really loved this place. From the obscure entrance to the amazing winery, this is a real treat for the mouth and the eyes. Had a great diner with friends in this amazing restaurant.

When the cab pulled up, I thought there must be some mistake -- no light, very small sign, looked almost dangerous. Ring the bell and you enter another world -- banana garden, well spaced tables, wait staff that were friendly, informative, and happy to speak English, and AMAZING food. Plan on a hundred bucks each for cocktails, wine, dinner, but SO worth it. We were there for nearly 3 1/2 hours and never felt rushed. Will go back next time in B. A.

We're foodies from San Francisco and were so impressed with Tegui. The service, decor, atmosphere and food were all fantastic. We speak some Spanish but are not fluent; we've experienced poor service at other "top" restaurants in BA because of that but at Tegui the staff were lovely (menus in English were a nice touch; not having to look up words on our iPhones or second guess "what did he say? did you catch that?" made the experience so much nicer).
The interior is gorgeous and sets the mood for a special evening. The food was some of the best we've ever had. You choose the number of courses you'd like (I chose 2 and my husband chose 3 - we shared the dessert). The cuisine is very similar to Californian - fresh local ingredients including vegetables, meats and fish - and the style is experimental (foams, etc) without being unapproachable. The amuse bouches that arrived throughout the meal were unexpected and delicious. It was a wonderful experience and well-worth the price.

had their tasting menu that was combined with a bottle of Dom, 2003 for $430 for two people.

the tasting menu was pretty good, all paired well with the bubbly. One dish I thought the proportions were a little out of wack, but all in all not bad.

Our waiter initially dropped the bottle back into the bucket which shot some champagne into his face, while it could have been way worse, I think he should have started over with a new bottle.

all and all not bad and not a bad value all things considered.

Enter through this non-descript door on a dark part of the street into a serene and gorgeous, cavernous space. The service is attentive, food is excellent, the sommelier very knowledgeable. We shared fried oysters and a ceviche-like scallop dish, then enjoyed veal tenderloin and crispy baby pork. Both excellent. The sommelier recommended a blend (Cab, Syrah, Malbec) that was well paired. Dinner was about 1100 pesos with tip...a fair price for excellent food and service.
