Review of Balthazar - CLOSED

If you are in the mood for shopping, Palermo Viejo neighborhood has become the go-to spot for trendy young Argentinians. Balthazar was the stand out shop by far. Dress shirts, casual shirts (everyone is wearing bright plaids), belts and socks.

I liked my purchases so much that the next day when we randomly walked past the San Telmo location, I felt the need for more socks and another shirt. Great service. A fun place to shop overall.

I was not expecting much when stumbling upon this gem, yet to my surprise I was simply taken back by this small boutique. I think I have found my new haunt for dress shirts. In the past I have bought my yearly supply of French cuff shirts from PINK or Brooks Brothers in the United States or the UK, but for the price, $450 AR, these shirts are by far higher quality. The quality and craftsmanship, plus the limited prints make these unique shirts is worth every penny. They should be the shirt on your back when you leave Argentina.
