We stayed at the Magnolia at both the beginning and end of our trip and enjoyed it immensely. Coming back to it at the end of a fairly exhausting journey was like coming home. The staff could not have been more helpful...charming, informed, patient (!!) and totally engaged in ensuring that we and the other guests were having a good time. We enjoyed the Palermo neighbourhood and were very glad we were there instead of downtown. The more we walked around the more we discovered lots of interesting shops and restaurants, so we were glad to have a few extra days. For us, a significant part of the Magnolia's charm is that it is a small boutique hotel with personality and we would certainly stay there again.
