“Make other arrangements”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

The price we had seen advertised was 150pesos but at the ticket office in Florida a small poster on the wall advertised the price '150pesos + 30pesos'. We were told that that we had to pay 180pesos if we wanted to go on the tour; the 30pesos is for discount vouchers, of no use to us.
On the bus we asked for a tour map and the guide said she had none. On the threat of a strong complaint she produced one. The music on the tour soundtrack was repetitive and drove us nuts. Later the bus stopped for 15 minutes while driver and guide took an unannounced lunch break. On another bus in the afternoon our headphones did not work properly.
Indifferent staff and poor service ruined the trip. Just don't bother.

“Don't go!”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

This is an expensive waste of time. The headphones worked only half the time and the other half blasted screeching music which masked the recorded voice of the guide. The staff were rude and unpleasant . A complete Rip Off.

“Slow and inefficient”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

The only reason you should hop on this bus is if you have limited time in Buenos Aires and want to see the city in one day. Otherwise, I don't recommend it. The bus is inefficient, the headphones don't work, and you end up spending more on the bus ticket than you would if you were to just take taxis. Don't buy the ticket online, buy it at one of the stands in recoleta or in the centro. And be prepared to wait 30 minutes at each stop to get on the bus.

“Same as being driven by a blind guide who spits the stop number and name! The audio provided is technically terrible and lacks c”
Reviewed June 21, 2013 via mobile

Audio provided: devices do not work well, barely can hear.
if you hear, you will find Basic descriptions of sites ( like just the name of the site). No history. Tango tune (pleasant at the beginning) becomes annoying since it is used over and over to fill the driving time.
Other: many of the Devices where you plug to hear the audio are broken ( it seems they do not repair them) . The sound quality is terrible. i gave up and looked at the map they provide. Good map!

“Not great value for money”
Reviewed June 17, 2013 via mobile

With only 1 full day in Buenos Aires we thought the best way to see the city would be on a Hop On Hop Off bus like we have done in many other cities around the world. It was disappointing that we had to pay 150 Pesos that included a card worth 30 Pesos to use for discount shopping etc. We did not want the card but you have no option - you have to buy it. The first bus we got on was quite new & clean & the head sets were good, but the next few buses we were on had lots of seats where the audio didn't work. Unfortunately it began to rain so this of course ended our time on the top deck & ultimately our day out sightseeing, but as it is Winter here now & the off season for tourists I can only imagine that it would be very hard to get seats on these buses & I could imagine how slow it would be in the traffic in normal traffic - we did the tour on a Sunday when the streets were quieter.
