Very helpful and friendly staff ! Our few areas of concern were immediately addressed. The rooms were clean and relatively large. A very nice selection for breakfast. Excellent location. Half a block from city center and within walking distance of so many sights. Worth the cost and definitely recommend. Would stay there again.

Stayed here for 5 nights but following a mix up with booking dates (due to mails being sent but not received) we were surcharged an extra night despite it not being our fault.

The mix up was also not the fault of the hotel - however the hotel made us pay for an extra night anyway even though I can’t see how the mix up had made them out of pocket

On a more positive note, the guys on the front desk were charming and polite and spoke good English. They were also pleasingly quick at letting us into the hotel - the main door is kept locked as, whilst the hotel is centrally located, the immediate area is rather run down with rough sleepers very nearby.

Breakfast was ok and included a good choice of fruit.

The room was spacious but the air conditioning in the rooms did not stay on for more than a few hours overnight which led to a poor nights sleep as the stuffiness of the room woke us up and we had to regularly get out of bed and switch it back on.

So overall an ok hotel but a disappointing attitude towards the booking problems when it appeared that making a fast buck seemed to trump customer service. I won’t be coming back

Stayed for one night after cruise round South America. We got a cab straight from the ship and arrived ridiculously early. We had hoped that the hotel would just look after our luggage but they were very friendly and in fact the room was ready. The room was in fact more like an apartment with sitting area and microwave and fridge. Very comfortable room. Location is fantastic, we walked for miles and saw a lot of sights. Very reasonable cost for the quality. Would definitely recommend.

Handy location, helpful staff, good breakfasts. Suites comfortable especially if you want some quiet space to eat in rather than go out for a meal. Lots traded see within walking distance. Handy to transport also. Hotel safe and secure.

I’ve stayed here easily 20 times – sometimes alone and other times with an assistant, or with small groups.

They have excellent restaurant staff specially Ermiliana the dinning room supervisor. I had not thought of using this hotel to bring a group to Buenos Aires but she made the original suggestion and connection which resulted in my bringing several groups over the last 2 years. She is fabulous.

The front desk guys are friendly and helpful. Having stayed there multiple times I notice their staff has not changed much which speaks well of the internal culture of the place. They tend to have excellent costumer service.

Breakfast is quite nice with plenty of options. One day I arrived after they stopped serving and for 70 pesos they cooked a delicious breakfast for me.

Jr Suites work well for us because they have a separate living area, very helpful if one is in Buenos Aires for work as it allows one to have separate office space. It is basic clean space with personality. This last trip I had 2 other couples with me and they stayed in large and very, very nice corner units.

Because I like to view Avenida Corrientes' activity (and enjoy seeing the demonstrators coming through) I always have a street side room. I don’t think it is too noisy at night – but then I have a white noise app that I use at home and on the road.

The hotel is within walking distance of the metro system and ½ block from 9 de Julio Avenue, which is spectacular when the jacarandas are in bloom.

The hotel has a small exercise room. Their treadmill needs to be updated but honestly I prefer to walk the streets of Buenos Aires. We either walk everywhere, use the subway, or take cabs.

3 issues:
- They stopped providing newspapers in the computer room (not incidentally, a beautiful light-filled space with comfortable seating). A loss to me. They said people took papers with them. One would think that there are ways to control that. As I said, a loss. There is nothing quite like a final cup of coffee while reading a real newspaper, but I digress.

- The neighborhood is getting dirtier, although it still feels as safe as any large city would. And obviously, the hotel can’t do thing about that.

- From my perspective their internet reservations system is not user friendly and once reservations are made in their own system they cannot be changed. As in: if you want to downgrade your room for whatever reason, you still have to pay extra.
