“A good one...”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

This pretty little restaurant offers you an entire dinner quality. I went to dinner several times and the food never disappointed me. Lunch as for dinner, we offer you a table d'hôte at a good price for the quality of food served. This place very friendly!

“Very high quality food”
Reviewed December 4, 2012 via mobile

We came during the week and had one of the specials. The chicken was cooked to perfection, blending a mix of sour, salty and sweet (from the corn).

Service can be a bit slow, but the wait was worth it.

“Best kept secret in BA”
Reviewed July 29, 2012 via mobile

Hands down the best kept secret in BA. The wine is excellent and the food is innovative. It is not your typical BA restuarant. You need to make reresevations because there is only about 8 tables. Also only open for lunch during the week and night during the weekend. I have been living in BA for 2 years and this place is a must !¡¡!!!!!!!! Also, well priced

“a place to come and come again”
Reviewed January 28, 2012

Had I not read the reviews I would have never bothered to look for this place. Its almost hidden and the ambience is not making any promises on the culinary experience about to be delivered. Once seated there, its great in every possible way. We are a bunch of foodies with a serious wine condition always mindful about Michelin stars and Wine Spectator reviews but this is what dining should feel like. No pretentious haute cuisine here, just great food at modest prices. Everything we had, including the bread, was near perfect. Well, everything save the dessert, which was only ok but we are willing to forgive the chef for that as it might not be his specialty. The wine was only ok too but this is very much ok considering the near joke price (10 USD for a full bottle of decent barrel aged chardonnay!) Overall, this would be our place of choice in B.A.

“Best Secret In BA”
Reviewed January 5, 2012

We spent 17 days in an apartment located in Recoleta after our cruise from Santiago. We ate lunch at Il Due twice and would have eaten there more often but they were closed for part of the Christmas/New Years holiday. This is an Italian restaurant so we were happy to get a break from the meat dominated Argentinian food. The pasta is homemade and wonderful with very well made sauces. The menu is not extensive and seems to change every day. There are only about 8 tables so it can fill quickly. Lunch is a fixed A$69 for a main course.including a bottle of water, dessert and coffee. A glass of excellent red wine was only A$18. Very good value meal.
Note that they are only open for lunch Monday trough Saturday, dinner only on Friday and Saturday nights.
