Down Alem of Av Leandro, small family type steakhouse known by some for their fantastic seafood. Portions on steaks are fantastic, if you have to have fries with your steak go for the Fritas Provincial, garlic, olive oil parsley tossed, brings a whole new meaning to French Fries. The service is great, little English but boy do they try, deserts go for the Deluce de Leche with Creame, you just can't go wrong with this

Large portions of delicious food (two could split one entree and one salad). Our waiter was attentive and funny...he kept us laughing and really made the dinner fun and memorable.

I went to the Dora restaurant in Buenos Aires with my husband for the first time. It was a very pleasant surprise. It looks like a real friendly, family and intimate place. Furthermore, the waiters are old timers with great knowledge of their business and always quite attentive to your needs. You don't have to wave at them when you needed something. Without being conspicuous they are always at hand. The menu is fantastic. Fish, pasta, meats, chicken, anything you want is there.
The food quality is also very good. The desserts are quite delicious and the wine list is very interesting. Not so big, but you'll find any kind of wine that you wish, with different brands.
Prices are fair. A real classic. You can go, without fear. However it is advisable to make a reservation. A very important factor: it opens at noon and only closes late at night. So, you can have your lunch at 5 pm if you wish and the food is always very good.

Easily the best fish in a city otherwise better known for its beef and pizza. There is a wide selection, all fresh, and prepared to perfection. Feel free to mix and match fish and sauces: the helpful waiters will tell you quite frankly if your combination will be well-balanced. Pleasant decor makes lunch here a positive experience.

I usualy go to this restaurant for its fish, they have a good choice cooked in a traditional parilla. Apart from the food, the atmosphere is very nice, a good Buenos Aires style without being artificial. The waiters are very nice and profesional -which is far from being the case everywhere. (I recomend the one who is upstairs, as they remain at they remain at the same dedicated area). As for the price, I have difficulties understanding the comment from KK : I have always paid around 180 pesos, with a wine -half bottle- and a desert.
