“An inside view of Buenos Aires”
Reviewed April 21, 2013

Great experience. I did the afternoon tour and our guid, Victoria, did a great job. What I enjoyed more was not the views and the walk around Recoleta, but Victoria's views and stories about the porteños and their way of living.
You can't ask more for free, but of course, I think it's woth a tip

“Excellent Free City Tours at 11AM and 5PM”
Reviewed April 21, 2013

Gaston and Victoria are really passionate about the culture, history and people of Buenos Aires. I would recommend starting any visit to Buenos Aires with one or both of their tours and explore the city from there. They work for tips and as such are responsive to their customers.

“Better than the paid city tour”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

We had a tour with Gaston and we found him to be very knowledgeable and passionate about his city. The tour was comprehensive and he told us things about the people of BA which the average tour guide would not talk about. You get to learn about the people and the culture apart from the history of the city. Victoria was the afternoon guide for Recoleta and the aristocratic area and was equally good. And to top it all, it is all based on voluntary tip.

“Great tour - and you only pay if you enjoy!”
Reviewed April 18, 2013 via mobile

We did three tours whilst in Buenos Aires. One cost 500 pesos, one cost 150 pesos and one cost absolutely nothing. The best? Hands down the free Buenos Aires walking tour!

Do not waste your money on any tour until after you have done this one. The local guide is passionate and knowledgable and shows you some of the main spots in the central part of the city. Although the tour takes about 3 hours its not very far to walk and the pace is relaxed. His stories are not the standard fare and he is very interesting. We learnt more in this 3 hours than in the 4 days we have been here.

Our only regret is we did not find the your until the last day. There is a second tour in the evening I would have loved to do but we just cannot fit it in.

Finally remember this is the tour guide's job so please do tip if you enjoy it. There really was no pressure put on us for a tip which made us happier to give. Given the tour is zero risk to you I highly recommend that you try it out first and I think you will enjoy it as
Much as we did.

“Adorable Place and tour”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

You must walk through this historical sight scenes, where is a mix of Latin america and British influence, and all the way is calm and incredible peaceful.
I liked a lot!

PS: stop by at "Café La Biella" nearby a Recoleta at 600 Quintana street. Very cozy atmosphere.
