“Reliable, not exceptional”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 23, 2014

We sat inside, needing a cool oasis on an extremely hot Saturday in April. A day made memorable by the worst experience on the famous/infamous big yellow bus when we hopped off for lunch at Rond Point. Nothing too special here, a beer, a bottle of water, a great bread basket, tortilla and a tasty enough Salade Nicoise (except for the canned green beans which would be heresy in France) cost more than it should but Rond Point was an okay place to people watch, linger over lunch and eat an average meal.

“Expensive but reliable”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2013 via mobile

Upscale and expensive. Staff with attitude. Food was average and they tried to squeeze a few extra dollars by upselling when communication wasn't clear. If u have money to burn it is fine but u can do much better in BA

“Excellent, well located, expensive”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2013

Excellent food (very good solomillo), great wines, good service and located in a very pleasant (residential) part of Buenos Aires. Very expensive though.

“the place to be seen”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 9, 2011

We were tipped off by a local that this was the place to be seen, so when we walked past it after a long day of sightseeing, it seemed like a good place for a break.
It was a holiday weekend, so they had a "weekend brunch special" of 100 pesos for three courses including a drink. The food was average, and the wine drinkable. The main was red salmon, cooked well, on a bed of sticky risotto which was too much to eat. The desert was delicious. My partner had the lamb curry (? more like a stew) which is not a speciality cuisine of this country, so best avoided.
The restaurant is on the main street, and well appointed, with lovely bathrooms, and upstairs dining area. There is also an Audi dealership on the top floor!
