“Nice, fresh, food, poor service!”
Reviewed May 29, 2013

Some of the staff were friendly, but it's quite random, depending on your luck... They have wifi in the restaurant which is great, but it's a bit pricy for what it offers, they even have a "cover charge" which is not a service charge but it adds up to your bill automatically:)
Not everyone speaks English, but there is always someone to help, food is fresh and tasty, especially steaks and salads.

“A famous icon.. let down”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

We came here after multiple recommendations from our private tour guide and also the hotel. while the atmosphere was good and the concept of the meat over the hot coals looked great, the food did not live up to the hype.

We ordered the mix grill for four which had been recommended to us. The meat was tough, overcooked and very fatty. Maybe the steak would have been a better choice.

The atomosphere and the staff were excellent which did make up for the taste.

“Excellent steak...”
Reviewed May 11, 2013

We were walking about Buenos Aires when we stumbled
on this place.
Waiter was friendly and knowledgeable.

We opted for Bife de Lomo and it was cooked to
perfection with great flavor.

All in all very nice meal...

“Very good veggies, good steak and nice atmosphere”
Reviewed May 3, 2013

The grilled veggies were very very good! The rib eye steak was good but a little too fatty for the high price. It was tasty but not as tasty or reasonable as the steak we had at El Establo. The atmosphere here was very nice and upbeat and the service was good. Oh, we noticed on the menu that if you pay in U.S. dollars you get a discount (don't recall how much) and that was a good surprise and so we took advantage of that after my husband had to go back for more U.S. dollars from the ATM. It was worth it cause we determined that we saved a nice amount. That was the best part of the end of the meal. I definitely would return for the grilled veggies and maybe I'd try the steak again I suppose. Wouldn't want to just order veggies. ha. The cost here is more expensive though than the other restaurant where the steak was better. We enjoyed the atmosphere and seeing the grilling of the steaks as we walked to our table, as well!

“Convenient, open on Holidays,and enjoyable.”
Reviewed March 30, 2013 via mobile

Recommend by the Marriott concierge on a Sunday as a stop before the flea market. Fun atmosphere, good beef and very pleasant service. Newly opened cellar of house Mendoza wine an additional feature.

Bad news was a poor taxi recommendation-oh we'll it is still a good choice for argentine experience oh the city
